Over the last three years, working with an amazing editorial team at Style.com/Arabia, we’ve created quality content that the Middle Eastern fashion savvy woman can be proud of; we’ve supported emerging designers that are now selling around the world; and we’ve promoted fashion critique as an essential part of fashion reporting.
The Fashion Prize, a project I imagined three years ago and participated in bringing to life, was the perfect culmination of this journey that has brought together Middle Eastern torch-bearers and fashion institutions. The designers, members of the jury, and our partners put a great amount of effort and passion into this project, which has only further convinced me that our region needs to start producing even higher-quality content. I want to make sure to leverage the growing potential and momentum here by being the voice of quality and initiative.
About the Prize
The Style.com/Arabia – DDFC Fashion Prize is an annual endowment granted to the most promising design talents from the Arab world.
